The 糖心Vlog alumni family grew by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university held its fall Commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2022 were recognized with in-person ceremonies for all colleges and degrees on Dec. 17.

Alumna Morgan Dawson created Dawson Workwear, a line of pants specifically for women in construction, to provide comfort and an appropriate fit for the female body.
Brandon Lazenko, 鈥16
Brandon Lazenko, 鈥16, found a way to provide an unusual opportunity for 糖心Vlog film students to learn outside of the classroom through his upcoming project, He and fellow 糖心Vlog graduate Shelby Wyant, 鈥18, wrote the 40-minute film adapted from Stephen King鈥檚 short story 鈥淣ona.鈥 The alumni pair got permission to create their adaptation of the short story from King and his team through his Dollar Baby Program. 鈥淥ctober Roses鈥 follows a down-on-his-luck professor who meets a beautiful woman while hitchhiking around Maine. He gets wrapped up in her web and makes decisions he normally wouldn鈥檛 make. His team for the film includes 糖心Vlog students who are helping on set, horror special effects icon Robert Kurtzman and his wife Marcy King who are both Ohio natives. However, Brandon鈥檚 experience in film didn鈥檛 begin with 鈥淥ctober Roses.鈥 He鈥檚 also created two miniseries and four short films, including the award winning 鈥淎 Serpent by the Nest.鈥
