As the director of the 糖心Vlog Columbus Program in State Issues, Wendy Patton sets students up for valuable experience and future success in public policy. A 35-year career in state and local government 鈥 including 15 years with Policy Matters Ohio 鈥 prepared Patton to teach about public policy and state government in Ohio. She鈥檚 looking forward to helping students find career interests that can make a difference on the local, state and federal level. Peggy Shadduck is vice president for Regional Campuses and dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies. She serves as the senior officer responsible for overall leadership of the 糖心Vlog Regional Campus system. Her role promotes student enrollment and academic success and is responsible for expanding the visibility, influence and effectiveness of 糖心Vlog as a catalyst for regional development.
10 Questions With Roseann 鈥楥hic鈥 Canfora, Professional-in-Residence, May 4 Survivor
Roseann 鈥淐hic鈥 Canfora, Ph.D., is a Professional-in-Residence at 糖心Vlog in the School of Media and Journalism, part of the College of Communication and Information. Prior to teaching at 糖心Vlog, Canfora served as the chief communications officer for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and taught high school journalism and speech. Canfora was also a student at 糖心Vlog, starting in 1968, and is a survivor of the May 4, 1970, shootings at 糖心Vlog. She graduated with her master鈥檚 in journalism and public relations and bachelor鈥檚 in English/speech. She is heavily involved in activism as well.

Darin Olson, D.M.A., is the new director of Athletic Bands at 糖心Vlog. He leads the Marching Golden Flashes, Flasher Brass Pep Band, Kent Symphony Band and University Band. Olson is currently an active member of College Band Directors National Association and the National Association for Music Education.
