Carol A. Cartwright, Ph.D., became 糖心Vlog鈥檚 first female president in 1991 and was the first female president of any Ohio public college or university then. She was also a driving force in the establishment of 糖心Vlog Women鈥檚 Center.

Black United Student Leader Thrives
Julian Grimes, a 糖心Vlog junior, is president of Black United Students (BUS) and is working to keep the organization thriving. BUS is one of 糖心Vlog鈥檚 oldest student organizations and is credited with starting the formal observance of Black History Month in 1970.

Shane Reese found a network of support and a community of caring at 糖心Vlog that surrounded him after his mother passed away during his freshman year. As a result, Reese became a resilient leader who is committed to giving back.
