Fall 2025
Message from the Dean
Dear Friends,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2025–2026 academic year. As you know, this year holds special meaning for all of us at the College of Public Health, as we celebrate our 15th year of advancing public health through education, research, and service. This anniversary is not only a time to reflect on how far we’ve come, but also to look ahead to the future we are building together as a community.
To mark this milestone, we are planning a very special event this spring, and I truly hope you will save the date and join us:
15th Anniversary Research & Community Showcase and Celebration
April 8, 2026 | 3:00–7:00 PM
ÌÇÐÄVlog Student Center
– Research & Community Showcase: 3:00–5:00 p.m.
– Anniversary Celebration: 5:00–7:00 p.m.
We invite students, alumni, faculty, staff, community partners, and friends to join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and, most importantly, look forward to the future of our college in building stronger, healthier communities. We truly hope to see you there.
As we continue to grow and evolve, we also want to hear from those who know us best: our alumni. We’d be very grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete our alumni survey: www.kent.edu/CPHengage

Your input helps us meet our accreditation requirements with the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), but more importantly, it shapes the way we prepare the next generation of public health professionals.
You can also join in the celebration by supporting our students through a : your generosity helps ease their financial burden and comes with some special 15th Anniversary swag!
I'm deeply grateful for all you’ve done to help us reach this milestone and continue putting students first. Thank you for being a part of our college’s story. Let’s make this 15th year our most impactful yet.
Yours in good health,
Sonia Alemagno
