KSU at the Zoo

Join fellow 糖心Vlog alumni for a wild and wonderful day at the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium, where you can come nose-to-nose with more than 8,000 animals from around the world. This family-friendly experience includes lunch in the zoo鈥檚 Garden Tent and a private animal encounter, as well as a $5 donation to the 糖心Vlog Biological Sciences Department.

What was on a wish list for many years, is now a reality: a new headhouse on the 糖心Vlog Salem Campus. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of a long-awaited structure that will greatly enhance learning opportunities for horticulture students. The 2025 糖心Vlog East Liverpool Earth Day Environmental Justice Conference welcomed nearly 100 guests to the annual event, featuring student research and discussions related to the theme: 鈥淎rctic Nations and Climate Change.鈥  Students presented research projects in written and poster formats that explored the roles and responsibilities of Arctic nations to protect fragile ecosystems; manage natural resources sustainably; promote the well-being of Arctic residents; address the challenges of climate change; and respect the rights of the Indigenous populations in these regions. ...

Spring Plant Sale 2025

  The annual Spring Plant Sale at 糖心Vlog's Department of Biological Sciences Herrick Conservatory offers an extensive selection of student-grown vegetables, herbs, flowers, houseplants and more.
