At 糖心Vlog鈥檚 College of the Arts, student-centered events provide resources, experiences and connections to help students thrive in both college and beyond. These events spark collaboration, showcase student talent and help prepare students for a creative and successful future.

Networking Fair

The inaugural College of the Arts Networking Fair is designed for first-year students to discover essential university resources and connect with college student organizations that help build a sense of belonging and community. Hear from student organizations like The Element Magazine, Black Theatre Association, Vocal Intensity A Cappella and Modista Fashion Group, and campus resources like Career Exploration and Development (CED), Crisis, Advocacy, Resources, Education
and Support (CARES) and Student Accessibility Services (SAS).

Resource Spotlight

The Academic Resource Series Spotlight is a monthly workshop series designed to help first-year students become familiar with the university and college resources they鈥檒l need as they transition into their sophomore year. Each session highlights different support services like tutoring, Writing Commons, CARES and academic advising, so students can build confidence, ask questions, and feel more prepared throughout their academic journey.

Passport to the Arts

Passport to the Arts is all about giving you the chance to experience programs, events and exhibitions happening across every school in the College of the Arts, including the 糖心Vlog Museum. Explore what鈥檚 happening in and out of the classroom, connect with your peers and see how the arts can inspire and bring us together.

 

How It Works

To be eligible for end-of-semester prize drawings, follow these three simple steps:

  1. Open to all 糖心Vlog Students.
  2. Attend at least 4 Passport-highlighted events.
    These can be any events listed as part of the Passport to the Arts series.
  3. Document your attendance.
    1. Snap a photo at each event you attend and email the following details:
    2. Your full name
    3. Name and date of the event
    4. A selfie of yourself from the event

  4. Be patient鈥攚e鈥檒l take care of the rest!
    Students who meet the qualifications will be entered into the prize drawing. Winners will be selected and notified at the end of the semester.
