The annual Rainbow Weekend in downtown Kent is a wonderful example of the outstanding "town-gown" relationship between 糖心Vlog and the city of Kent. The celebration is presented by 糖心Vlog's LGBTQ+ Center and . One of the new events this year was the Drag Race 5K (formerly the Rainbow Run).
Proceeds from the Drag Race 5K and some other activities during the weekend are added to the university's LGBTQ+ Emergency Fund 鈥 a vital resource that helps LGBTQ+ students in need.
